Reading and Cognition

This book by Walter Kintsch reads very easy for those interested in the subject. Professor Kintsch explains the subject very clearly with insight and, in my view, taking the reader into account all the time. I am using his book to write a postgraduate paper in which I have to device a number of tasks for the development of reading strategies in tertiary level students. The application of Professor K's concepts in my field (I am a grammar teacher and my students have to read rather elaborate technical material proficiently) have helped me understand the subject and develop my tasks very usefully. Thank you
